Itinerary

Typical itinerary for our group walks

How the day will unfold

Each day will consist of 12/13 miles of walking, starting once you’ve enjoyed a nice leisurely breakfast and got into your walking boots. We aim to set off from your accommodation at about 10.15am. (Don’t worry about your luggage, we will safely transfer this to the next destination.)

There will be a lunchtime stop for food and drink at one of our preferred country pubs along the route.

The second half of the walk will take in more of the beautiful countryside and landmarks before arriving at our next destination at around 4pm. Your guide, Ian, will help to check you in at your next overnight stop before leaving you to enjoy your evening.

We can’t emphasise enough, the pace we walk will be determined by the speed that the group as a whole is happy with – please be assured, nobody will be left at the back trying to chase everyone all day!
